What is Marine1?
Marine1 is a subscription platform that gives you instant access to marine repair and workshop manuals. Whether you're a professional marine mechanic or a passionate boat owner, you'll find the manual you need for any vessel.
How does the free trial work?
All new accounts get a 14-day free trial with full access to the plan you choose. No credit card is required to start. At the end of your trial, you can enter your payment details to continue — or simply let it expire if it's not for you.
What brands and models are covered?
Our library covers manufacturers including Mercury, Yamaha, Volvo, Yanmar, MerCruiser, MAN, Scania, Tohatsu, Evinrude, Johnson, John Deere, Sea-Doo, and more — across outboard engines, inboard diesels, sterndrives, and full workshop manuals. The library is growing; you can see the current count on the home page.
Subscription & Billing
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, absolutely. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period with no lock-in and no cancellation fees.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe. All transactions are secure and encrypted.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes. You can change your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and you'll be charged a prorated amount. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Manuals & Access
How often are manuals updated?
We add new titles to the library as we source them, and refresh existing ones when newer editions become available. The current count on the home page reflects what's available right now.
How does the My Vessels feature work?
Once you're logged in, you can register your vessels by name, make, model, and year, and pin the manuals you use most against each one — so the right docs are one tap away whenever you open your dashboard.
Technical
What devices and browsers are supported?
Marine1 works on any modern browser on desktop, tablet, or mobile. We support Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge. Our interface is fully responsive and works great on phones in the engine bay.
Is my data secure?
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption for all data in transit and at rest. Authentication is powered by Supabase and payments are processed securely through Stripe — we never store your card details.
